ROCK ISLAND, Illinois-- Two Rivers YMCA opened their new program office inside the Martin Luther King Center in Rock Island, Monday, October 17.
The new space will house the organization's administration office, to better support current YMCA programs and staff om Rock Island.
"This is the first facility the YMCA will have in Rock Island since the 1980s, but... it extends the feeling of commitment that the 'Y' has to continuing to serve this community," says CEO of the Two Rivers YMCA, Mike Wennekamp.
The Two Rivers YMCA serves about young people every year through programs in the Rock Island and Milan School District.
