Two men hurt, one arrested after overnight shooting

Two men were shot overnight in Davenport.

Davenport Police were called to 5400 Division Street around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2016, for a shooting. Police said two men were shot. Both their injuries were non-life threatening.

Romance Armstrong, a 29-year-old Davenport man, was treated and released. He was then charged with Felon in Possession, Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Armstrong bonded out of the Scott County Jail on Sunday afternoon.

The other man remains in the hospital with injuries.
