LECLAIRE, Iowa — It was a celebration of a favorite fall fruit in LeClaire on Sunday, Oct. 9. The 27th annual Apple Fest took over the downtown area.

People searched through dozens of different kinds of apples to find just the right ones to take home. The event draws vendors from all over selling apple jams, strudels, and of course the classic apple pie.

"We always have really good traffic down here, there's tons of really excited people just to see what we got out and everyone is just really nice we have a really good time," said Michaella White with Eastern Iowa Baking Company.

The annual Apple Fest is hosted by the LeClaire Lion's Club.
