AFTON, Iowa (AP) — Sheriff’s officials in southwestern Iowa say a toddler has been killed in an accident involving a skid loader.
22-month-old Calab Brammar Jr. was sitting on his father’s lap while the father operated the skid loader Tuesday, Oct. 11, and either fell or jumped from the machinery, Des Moines station KCCI reports.
The Union County Sheriff’s Department says the boy was declared dead at the scene near Afton.
The boy’s funeral is scheduled Saturday.
