SOUTH CAROLINA –The struggle with a massive tiger shark was caught on camera in late September 2016.
The video was taken off the north end of Hilton Head Island in South Carolina on September 28th, according to The Tribune. Charter boat captain Chip Michalove was the fisherman reeling in the 13-foot, 1,000 pound tiger shark.
According to the report, Michalove – from Outcast Sport Fishing – and his crew tagged and released the shark. They also took a fin clipping for DNA to give to scientists.
