Moline PD seeks help in identifying robbery suspect

Moline police said that this person is a suspect in a robbery that happened at a business on the Avenue of the Cities on Thursday, September 29, 2016.

MOLINE, Illinois -- Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a robbery suspect.

Images posted to the Moline Police Department's Facebook page show two angles of the suspect.  The department's post says that he is a suspect in a robbery that happened at a business on the Avenue of the Cities on Thursday, September 29, 2016.

Detective Scott Williams said that the suspect was in the Shell Express station paying for an item.  When the clerk opened the register the suspect "grabbed money from the drawer and took off running."

The suspect is described as being white, in his late 20s or early 30s, stood about 6-feet, 2-inches tall, and weighed about 190 pounds.
