Free tuition at Stanford Business School with a Midwest ending

Your kids could get a free education from one of the best universities in the country, as long as they come back home.

A new program pays tuition to Stanford Business School, as long as students move to the Midwest after they graduate. The fellowship will pay three students about $160,000 over two years to attend the university. Within two years of graduating, students are required to find work in one of 12 states in teh Midwest.

The theory is Stanford students in California, and could put their education to better use in under-served areas. That includes Iowa and Illinois.
