DIXON, Illinois — The Dixon man shot by police during a standoff earlier this month says he's not guilty of attempted murder.

On Sept. 7, police say 33-year-old Justin Llanas was holding a woman hostage at knife point when he got into a fight with another man, who he stabbed in the stomach.

Llanas was then unsuccessfully Tasered by police before they shot him. Llanas is charged with attempted murder, battery and resisting an officer.

The officers involved in the shooting were cleared of any wrongdoing.
