ROCK ISLAND, Illinois — The Iowa-bound sidewalk on the Centennial Bridge will be closed beginning 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3 and will reopen 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, while Illinois Department of Transportation performs bridge maintenance.
One lane will be closed to drivers to serve as an alternate walkway for pedestrians while crews are working.
Pedestrians should use caution while walking through work zones.
