Pride of the Wapsi corn maze, attractions to open October 1

A corn maze designed to be a tribute to America’s farmers and their families will open in Long Grove Saturday, Oct. 1.

LONG GROVE, Iowa — A corn maze designed to be a tribute to America’s farmers and their families will open in Long Grove Saturday, Oct. 1. The 11-acre corn maze is located at the Pride of the Wapsi family-owned farm, which also offers a pumpkin patch, shooter slide, petting zoo and the Farmer Brown Chicken Show.

The maze costs $6 for all guests and is open during the month of October on weekends,  4-6:30 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The maze is one of 19 mazes in 19 states designed by Culver’s as part of the restaurant’s Thank You Farmers program. Illinois’ maze is located at Jonamac Orchard in Malta.
