WASHINGTON, DC – Vietnam War-era veterans toured a number of monuments during the second from last Quad City Honor Flight for 2016.
The first flight reserved for Vietnam veterans took off from the Quad City International Airport on Thursday, September 15. During that day the nearly 100 veterans saw the Vietnam and Korean War memorials, the Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery , the Women's War Memorial, the World War II war memorial, and the Air Force memorial.
This is the 37th flight for veterans to see war memorials in Washington, DC.
