Tom Pospisil from Eriksen Chevrolet was on-hand to present a check for $600 for the August Three Degree Guarantee to the Aisle of Flags.
Accepting the check were Bob and Judy DeBoever and Maurie and Brenda Nelson.
The goal of Aisle of the Flags is to spread patriotism by displaying American flags in the Geneseo area. Almost 35 years ago, a group of women organized volunteers to put up flags in the city park aisle as a tribute to veterans past and present. Each year, more than 100 volunteers – kids and adults – turn the park into a sea of red, white and blue. On July 4th, there are more than 700 flags on display.
