LECLAIRE, Iowa-- This year's Dogtoberfest brought hundreds of people and their dogs to the Bierstube in Leclaire Sunday, September 18.
The event included German food, drinks and Dachshund dog races.
Money made during the event will go towards some much needed repairs at Crow Creek Dog Park in Bettendorf.
"We need some fencing repair. Our fencing ... is 10 years old so we really need to make some repairs because some of the little dogs are sneaking under," says Crow Creek's Kathy Behncke.
The first 150 people also received free dog gift bags.
