GOLDSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Police say they’ve caught up with a North Carolina woman wanted after her mother’s corpse was found in a freezer sold at a yard sale.

Goldsboro Police say Marcella Jean Lee, 56, was arrested Thursday in Carolina Beach, 100 miles south of Goldsboro. A police statement Friday said she’d been sought for more than three months on a felony charge of failure to report a death.

An autopsy in June found no signs of foul play in the death of 75-year-old Arma Roush, who lived with Lee and last was seen in August 2015.

Police said a neighbor bought Lee’s freezer for $30 last spring. It was taped shut and Lee told the neighbor friends would collect the contents. The buyer opened the freezer weeks later and found the remains.
