Davenport police have released the name of the shooting victim who died Wednesday evening. The man killed is Doug Knochenmus, 24, of Davenport.

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Police say one person has died after a shooting in the city.
It happened in the 1000 block of Blythwood Place just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
Police say when they arrived, they found a victim with life threatening injuries, from a gunshot. The victim was transported to Genesis East but later died. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.
