Davenport residents invited to help prioritize city funds

DAVENPORT, Iowa — The city is working to decide what to do with an estimated $1.1 million that will support housing rehabilitation, economic development, and area nonprofits, and residents are invited to help make those decisions.

The City of Davenport is holding public input meetings to help priorities these Community Development Block Grant funds.

The two meetings will be at the following times and locations:

  • Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 6 p.m. — Freight House Community Room at 400 W. Beiderbecke Dr.
  • Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. — Fairmount Library Garden Room at 3000 N. Fairmount St.

If you are unable to attend these meetings, you are invited to take an online survey, available until September 25.  The survey is 12 questions and should take about 5 minutes.
