LECLAIRE, Iowa - The Scott County Sheriff's Office has identified the two motorcyclists and the driver who were killed after a truck swerved into their lane.

The crash happened on Highway 67, just after 10 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016, to the 3100 block of South Cody Road.

The Scott County Sheriff's Office said a truck heading north, driven by 52-year-old Darryl Wilson, swerved into the opposite lane and caused an accident with three motorcycles. The sheriff's office said the first two motorcyclists hit were killed; they were driven by 57-year-old William Griffith and 59-year-old Ronald Fox. The third motorcyclist was treated and released from the hospital. The LeClaire Police and Fire Department, along with the Scott County Sheriff's Office, responded to the scene.

"One of the motorcycles started on fire with the vehicle that was traveling north," Scott County Sheriff Deputy Chad Cribb said.

The sheriff's office also says the motorcyclists were not wearing helmets.
