The Moline Fire Department says the man pulled from the home has died. He was taken to Illini Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His name is not being released pending family notification.

One man is in the hospital after crews pulled him out of a burning home in Moline.
It happened on Monday, September 12th, 2016 at 3:30pm at a house in the 2400 block of 44th Street.
Crews say they got a call of a man trapped in the basement. They were able to pull him out and get him to a hospital. No word on his condition.
There was also a dog inside. Crews were able to give him oxygen and he's expected to be okay.
Most of the damage was in the basement. No word yet on what caused the fire.
