MOLINE, Illinois -- Many chicken enthusiasts will get some free grub with the new stand-alone Chick-fil-A opening off of John Deere Road.
The restaurant is opening Thursday, September 22, 2016. Chick-fil-As in the area are celebrating the opening with a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich giveaway on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 20 and 21.
Patrons can get their free sandwich from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday and between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday. There is no purchase necessary to partake in the giveaway, but it is limited to one per customer. The following Chick-fil-As are participating:
- SouthPark Mall in Moline
- NorthPark Mall in Davenport
- 2945 East 53rd Street in Davenport
For customers looking for more than just one free sandwich, Chick-fil-A is giving 100 people free food for a year when the new location opens around 6 a.m. on the 22nd. Organizers are anticipating a line of passionate customers, possibly waiting with tents, lawn chairs, and entertainment gear.
The restaurant will bring 85 new jobs to the area.
