IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say the 20-year-old man pulled from Iowa River was a student at the University of Northern Iowa.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s office says Nathan Twedt’s body was pulled from the river in Iowa City on Saturday evening, Sept. 10.
Investigators are trying to determine what led to Twedt’s death, the Iowa City Press-Citizen reports.
Rescuers were called to the river around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Officials found Twedt’s body after about an hour of searching.
