Aledo, ILLINOIS – The Mercer County Golden Eagles are gearing up for their football game on Friday, September 9, 2016 against the ROWVA Cougars. Before the game though, the school participated in a GMQC Score Pep Rally, sponsored by Mercer Market!

Students started showing up before 5:15 a.m. Friday. Eric made me believe he was dressed as the ‘Golden Eagle’ for one of his live shots…shocker. Later on in the morning, he had the kids play Words With Friends, and he had them do a hula hoop contest.

Mercer County takes on ROWVA at 7 p.m. Friday in Aledo. To see the rest of his coverage, see the videos below. Also, if your high school has a home game for October 14th, nominate them for a GMQC Score Pep Rally by filling out the form here.  We have just one slot left to fill for the season!
