CHICAGO, Illinois — Chicago Cubs fans were able to grab a piece of team history today. While the team is on a road trip, grounds crews are re-sodding the field. Old sod was stacked in the parking lot for anyone to grab.
The sod comes in 18-inch sections and it didn't take long for fans to hear about the offer and carry off most of the stock.
