DAVENPORT, Iowa — Area cops are taking fundraising to a new level – the rooftop level, that is.

Law enforcement officers will be on rooftops of 18 participating Dunkin’ Donuts across Iowa from 6-11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9 to raise money for Special Olympics Iowa (SOIA). It’s the second annual Cop on a Rooftop event.

Besides donating to a worthy cause, you’ll be able to get a free coffee coupon when you make a donation. This is one of many fundraisers planned each year by law enforcement in support of SOIA. In 2015, more than 750 officers raised more than $875,000 for Iowa athletes.

You’ll be able to find the officers atop the Dunkin Donuts at 2519 E. 53rd Street in Davenport, and 2603 Second Avenue in Muscatine on Friday morning. CLICK HERE for more locations.
