An arrest warrant is out for a Milan man who didn't show up for sentencing at his fifth drunk driving conviction.
Dan Sylvester, 63, was supposed to be sentenced in Rock Island Circuit court on Tuesday afternoon, but he was a no-show.
Judge Frank Fuhr said Sylvester has not been in contact with the probation office since he bonded out of jail in July.
"Probation attempted to contact him, they've been unable to do so, they've been unable to complete the PSI (pre-sentence investigation report). So his right to have a bond no longer applies, his bond is being revoked,", said Judge Fuhr, who then issued a warrant for his arrest.
Sylvester plead guilty in July to driving drunk and smashing head-on into a car in Moline off Airport Road. The driver and her son were both hurt.
Sylvester had four prior drunk driving convictions in Iowa.
A new sentencing date was set for October 18.
