ROCK ISLAND, Illinois-- More than 130 clubs and organizations, including a record-breaking 8 marching bands from all over the quad cities,celebrated Rock Island's 32nd annual Labor Day Parade, Monday, September 5.
The parade started near Washington Jr. High School and ended outside Rock Island High School.
This year's theme was "We heart Rock Island."
The first Rock Island Labor Day Parade was held in 1985 as a part of the city's 150th birthday celebration.
