MUSCATINE, Iowa — A Muscatine man was sentenced Aug. 31 for being a felon in possession of a firearm, trafficking in stolen weapons as a second offense, and possession of meth as a second offense.

Marcus Fry, 28, was sentenced to up to 17 years in prison. The court also revoked his probation from other sentences stemming from previous charges. Fry was taken to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center to begin his sentence, reports Muscatine County Attorney Alan Ostergren.

Investigation shows Fry was found in possession of a stolen gun and meth, says Ostergren.
