BURLINGTON, Iowa -- A joint investigation between the Burlington Police and the Iowa Department of Human Services resulted in the arrest of a man for sexual abuse for allegedly inappropriately touching a four-year-old boy.
The boy was interviewed athe Child Protection Center in Muscatine and provided enough evidence for police to issue a search warrant for the home of Nicholas L. Cagle, 28, of Burlington.
On Aug. 28, detectives executed the warrant, seized multiple items from the home that will be sent for analysis, and placed Cagle under arrest.
Cagle remains in the Des Moines County Jail.
