DAVENPORT, Iowa — More than 400 MidAmerican customers are waking up to no power Monday morning, August 29, 2016.
After 4 a.m. the energy company was reporting multiple outages, with 431 customers impacted. They cited “a problem with a substation” as the cause of the outages.
Residents in the ‘52803’ were expected to be restored by 8 a.m. Residents in the ‘52806’ and ‘52807’ were expected to be restored by 7 a.m. Also, residents in the Davenport-Mount Joy area, ‘52804’ were expected to be back on by 7 a.m. as well.
Just after 7 a.m., MidAmerican was reporting more than 200 still without power.
