BETTENDORF, Iowa-- Splash Landing in Bettendorf was closed to humans Sunday August, 28, but it was open for the annual Doggy Splash.
This is the last event the water park will host before closing for the summer.
"It is so much fun and the dogs are having such a ball and people are so appreciative that we get to do it at the end of the year that we just kept on with it," says Kathy Behnecke, organizer with the Crow Creek dog park.
There were separate time slots for small, medium and large dogs to make sure all the animals got equal playing time in the pool.
