JACKSON COUNTY, Iowa — A 26-year-old from Bernard, Iowa has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash at Hurtsville Road in Jackson County on Monday, August 22.
John Manning, 41, of Maquoketa was driving a semi around 5:30 a.m. Monday and turned southbound on Highway 61 when he was rear ended by another vehicle driven by McClain Bohach, reports the Iowa State Patrol.
Bohach was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.
No charges have been filed and the crash is still under investigation.
