DAVENPORT — Someone ran into the back of a Davenport Community School District bus Wednesday morning and fled the scene, according to police.
The hit-and-run happened around 8:23 a.m. at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and 29th Street. No one was injured as a result of the crash. Police said the suspect vehicle was an SUV and that it has been located. The accident remains under investigation. No charges had been filed as of late Wednesday afternoon.
