GALENA, Illinois — Construction trailers at a job site in rural Galena, just west of Elizabeth, Illinois were burglarized when employees were not on site, police say.
The trailers were set up along US Route 20 at Medical Center Drive/Norris Lane, according to a statement from the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. The burglaries happened sometime between Saturday, August 20, 2016 and Monday, August 22.
“In all instances, the locks were cut from the trailers and construction tools were stolen,” read the statement.
