Members with the LeClaire Iowa Civic Club are collecting items to donate for victims of the severe flooding in Louisiana.
Torrential Rains Bring Historic Floods To Southern Louisiana

LECLAIRE, Iowa — Members with the LeClaire Iowa Civic Club are collecting items to donate for victims of the severe flooding in Louisiana. Donations will be accepted from Monday, Aug. 22 to Friday, Aug. 26 daily at the civic center from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Large drop offs should go to the LeClaire Civic Center, 127 S. Cody Road in LeClaire, but smaller items can be dropped off at any Blackhawk Bank & Trust location during their normal business hours.

Anyone wanting to make a monetary donation can visit their GoFundMe page.

Items wanted for donation include personal hygiene products, school supplies, linens, non-perishable food items, new and unworn clothing and diapers, and cleaning products and supplies. Storage totes, boxes and containers will also be accepted.
