DAVENPORT – Police responded to a shots-fired incident in the 1800 block of Esplanade Avenue shortly after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood and recovered several shell casings at the scene. One house was struck, police said.
The incident happened just south of Sudlow Intermediate School.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are conducting a follow up. Davenport police ask anyone with information regarding the shooting call (563) 326-6125 or submit an anonymous tip via the department’s mobile app called CityConnect Davenport IA.
