Pro golfer competing in John Deere Classic arrested near Jumer’s Casino

One of the pros taking part in the John Deere Classic ran into some legal trouble while here in the Quad Cities.

Robert Allenby, from Australia,  was arrested  outside of Jumer's Casino around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016, after Day 2 of the tournament.  Arrest reports from the Rock Island Police Department show that Allenby was booked into the Rock Island County Jail shortly after 4 a.m., charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.

Allenby's bond was set at $1,500, according to the arrest report.

Rock Island County State's Attorney John McGehee said that Allenby would not be prosecuted, according to a report by the QC Times.
