BETTENDORF, Iowa-- The Hy-Vee,Inc and the Pinky Swear Foundation teamed up to show off  some of the Quad Cities' smallest athletes in the Hy-Vee Pinky Swear Kids' Triathlon Saturday, August 13.

Kids had to swim, bike, and run to raise money to help kids with cancer an their families.

Last year more than 1,900 kids raised more than $330,000.

"Swimming, biking (and) running is something kids love to do and we told everybody... it's non-competitive and what we're really trying to do here is build awareness for kids with cancer," says Debbie Geisler, Hy-Vee employee.

The next Pinky Swear Kids' Triathlon will be August 20, in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
