Golf tournament volunteer has put in 40+ years from the driver’s seat

SILVIS, Illinois -- Talk about a volunteer. This dedicated woman has been volunteering for 41 years, shuttling people to and from the golf tournament in the Quad Cities.

Back even before the John Deere Classic - when golf pros were competing in the Quad City Classic, the Hardee's Golf Classic, Lite Quad Cities Open, Miller High Life QCO, the Quad Cities Open, and the Ed McMahon-Jaycees Quad Cities Open - Linda has seen it all.

Linda has wound up with a lot of memorabilia from tournaments in the past. She's gotten a pin from every single one; photos too.

"Oh here's me with Jonathan Byrd," she said looking through old newspapers. "I didn't even know he took the picture... I checked the next day and said, "Oh wow! Cool!""

Linda says she'll drive until she can't drive anymore.
