LOW MOOR, Iowa — The city of Low Moor has issued a boil order after a valve for the water tower was repaired. Water was shut off Thursday morning, Aug. 11, so public works could repair the valve.

Residents should boil drinking water and cooking water for five minutes before using it as a precautionary measure.

Residents are asked to call City Hall at 563-522-2090 on Wednesday evening to see if, or when, the boil order will be lifted, says a statement from city treasurer Ileen Goldensoph.
