BURLINGTON, Iowa — Minutes after gunshots were reportedly fired in a neighborhood, police found out that a man suffering a gunshot wound had checked into the Emergency Room.
The sound of three gunshots from the 200 block of Gunnison Street were reported before 6 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016, according to a report by KBUR. Officers found three shell casings in the road, and found out about the injured man four minutes later.
The injured man was shot in the leg, and told police it happened in the 200 block of Gunnison, KBUR reported.
