A tornado warning has been issued for south central Clinton and northeastern Scott counties and will expire at 9:30 p.m. The National Weather Service reports that a tornado was located near Long Grove in Iowa, 13 miles north of Davenport and moving east at 40 miles per hour.

If you hear sirens go off in your area, please seek shelter immediately.

Most of the QC viewing area is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 9:45 p.m. The QC Illinois side has a severe thunderstorm watch Storms reported near Donahue and North Liberty saw gusts of wind up to 60 miles per hour. Damage to roofs, siding and trees can be expected.

Severe thunderstorm watches are still in effect for the QCs until 2 a.m.
