Local bands from the Quad Cities area have been vying for a set at River Roots Live.
After making it through the online voting stage, four final bands are headed to the live stage at the Redstone Room for the Studio 8 Showcase on Friday, August 5. Doors will be open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.
At that performance, a winner will be selected based on the following:
1) Stage presence and appearance
2) Material selection (with original material a definite plus)
3) Execution of material
4) Crowd response
Each of the four criteria will be weighted equally. Judges will score each on a scale of 1-10.
Then you can see the winner perform their set at River Roots Live, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, August 27th – the opening slot of the day.
