REYNOLDS, Illinois — Antioch Baptist Church in Reynolds is a congregation of about 85 members that celebrated 150 years Saturday, July 23.
Their celebration included face painting, food, raffle, fireworks and fun for their whole community. Church leader, Pastor Bob Keller, says it's an exciting and overwhelming day.
"For a church to be in tact and thriving and loving one another in the community for 150 years... it's just a monumental event, and we are blessed to be here, and I don't know where else I'd be if I wasn't here," he said.
The celebration was open for everyone to enjoy.
