MUNICH – At least one shooter is still on the loose after a shooting inside a McDonald’s at Munich’s Olympia shopping mall Friday, police spokeswoman Claudia Küntzel said.
“There could be several dead and one or even several shooters are on the loose,” Küntzel said.
The shooting at the McDonald’s happened around 5:50 p.m. (11:50 a.m. ET), she said.
It’s unclear whether shootings have occurred at other locations, and whether the gunfire has stopped.

Witnesses reported shots being fired at a shopping center in Munich, Germany Friday evening.
An ongoing “shooting spree” was happening at the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum shopping mall in the Moosach district of Munich, Germany, a police spokesperson told CNN.
There has been no official number of possible casualties; a large police presence surrounding the area can be scene in reports from local media.
The mall has been evacuated and the surrounding area sealed off.
Video posted to Twitter by a woman who says she is a student from Duke University shows people running from the scene, some carrying shopping bags.
