EAST MOLINE, Illinois - The 147th Rock Island County Fair kicked off Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Rock Island County Fairgrounds.
WQAD News 8's Kelsey Woodard and I took part in the Celebrity Showmanship Contest Tuesday, showing off the area's best livestock. Ms. Woodard got third place out of eight. I got 5th. But at least I didn't get last like last year right?
The contest was put on by the Rock Island County 4H Teen Federation, and the fair continues through Saturday, July 23, 2016.
