Galesburg crews will pick up tree limbs, branches July 18

Residents of Galesburg who need branches picked up need to place them on the curb by tonight, July 17.

GALESBURG, Illinois — Residents of Galesburg who need branches picked up need to place them on the curb by tonight, July 17.

Starting Monday, July 18, the crews will be picking up limbs from the windstorm that happened a week ago.

If you have branches for pick up, they have to be less than 10-feet long. Crews will only going to homes north of Main Street.

The Oversize Brush Drop Off Facility, 636, Pickard Road, will also have extended hours for residents to drop off limbs through next Sunday, July 24, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. This site is open to residents only, no private contractors.
