Less than 24 hours from now, Republican leaders, supporters, and party members will pack Cleveland's Quicken Loans arena and the 2016 Republican National Convention will get underway. This year's convention runs from July 18th to the 21st.

Dozens of veterans, political outsiders, faith leaders, and Donald Trump's family members will lead an "unconventional" lineup of speakers to "make a serious case against the status quo," as per the GOP's website.

Trump's campaign slogan is "Make America Great Again," and this year's convention is going along with that theme. Each day will have a different, specific theme and a series of headlining speakers.

The following is a brief synopsis of what to expect each day, according to Jeff Larson, CEO of the 2016 Republican National Convention.

  • Monday: "Make America Safe Again"
    • Headliners: Melania Trump, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Jason Beardsley, and Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-Montana)
  • Tuesday: "Make America Work Again"
    • Donald Trump Jr., Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-West Virginia), Ben Carson, and Kimberlin Brown
  • Wednesday: "Make America First Again"
    • Lynne Patton, Eric Trump, Newt Gingrich, and Mike Pence
  • Thursday: "Make America One Again"
    • Peter Thiel, Tom Barrack, Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump

Each of the "headlining" speakers will begin speaking at around 7 PM each day. Donald Trump will officially be declared the Republican Party's nominee on Thursday.

The Democratic National Convention begins the week after the RNC. It runs from July 25th until July 28th.
