EAST MOLINE, Illinois-- Pastor Corey Parker from The Life Church in East Moline says he's working to find a way to clear up what he says seems to be a misconception, that to support the Black Lives Matter Movement also means to be anti-law enforcement.
"Our out cry is against violence whether it be at the hands of a civilian or wheather be at the hands of law enforcement officer, our lives matter too,"says Pastor Parker, in response to the negative reactions he's gotten from last week's march from Rock Island to Davenport.
It was the community's reaction to the shooting deaths of Philando Castile, Alton Sterling and now Dallas Police Officers.
Pastor Parker says he's now working to put together a prayer service for police officers in the Quad Cities.
