BETTENDORF, Iowa — A big summer Quad City festival reaches a milestone this August.
This is the 45th year for the annual Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival, and also marks the 85th anniversary of Bix's death. The festival will take place in Bettendorf and Davenport August 4-6, 2016.
Organizers announced the lineup Wednesday, June 22, which includes the Memphis Speed Kings, and the Basin Street Boys.
Performances will take place throughout the Quad Cities like the Waterfront Convention Center, the Putnam Museum and at Bix's grave site in Davenport.
