HENRY COUNTY, Illinois — Residents are getting mailings regarding their voter registration status, but with wrong information.

These mailings are not coming from the Henry County Clerk’s Office, but from the Voter Participation Center in Chicago, according to Henry County Clerk Barbara M. Link.  Many of these mailings are being distributed not only to deceased people, but to old addresses, and residents under nicknames.

“Many of those contacting my office are not only upset but also very concerned as to why their information is incorrect,” Link said.

Link said she is reassuring citizens that these mailings do not reflect the records of the Henry County Clerk’s Office.  However, if you get a form like this, and want to make sure you are registered under the correct information, call the clerk’s office at 309-937-3575.
