MOLINE, Illinois -- After years of preservationists trying to keep it around, demolition has begun on the long-standing Moline train depot.

Crews were on site  along River Drive Tuesday morning, June 21, 2016 knocking the structure down.  On June 16 construction crews started tearing down the architectural framing.

The building is coming down to make way for the new I-74 Bridge.
